PTHS School Nurse
Hey! I'm Lisa Popovich, the PT high school nurse taking care of your kids! I have my Masters in Education in School Heath Services (MEd) from Eastern University, my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from West Virginia Wesleyan College, and my School Nurse Certification from Eastern University.
I have been involved in Penn-Trafford schools since 2001 as a PTO mom and many, many different programs throughout the district. I started substituting as a Registered Nurse in 2014. I have also substituted as building secretary, and para-professional. I was hired as the certified school nurse at the high school in 2016.
I live in the district with my husband, Sam and children, Nick (2016 PT Grad & 2018 St. Vincent College Bearcats B.E.S.T. program Grad) and Natasha (2017 PT Grad & 2021 Grad University of Pittsburgh in the Emergency Medicine Program).
