Welcome!

Hello!  My name is Linnea Sherman and I work with students whose last names begin with the letters H through Pe. 

 

This will be my 19th year working as a School Counselor in the Penn Trafford School District.  I spent the first fourteen years at Penn Middle School before moving up to the high school.  I love every aspect of my job but especially enjoy working with students individually and in small groups.  

 

I have a Master's degree in School Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Art's degree in English and Secondary Education from Ft. Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.  I am also certified to teach yoga and utilize a variety of relaxation techniques with my students who struggle with anxiety.
