Three students from Mr. Vinton’s TV Production class at Penn-Trafford High School earned first place in the Broadcast Feature category at the Pennsylvania School Press Association’s (PSPA) State Journalism contest.

Ella Malloy, Julianne Fontano, and Chloe Stack received the top award for their feature package focused on student life at Penn State University. Their entry was selected as the best among submissions from across the state. The segment showcased various aspects of campus life and student experiences at Penn State.

“This was our first time competing at the PSPA State Journalism contest at Penn State,” commented Mr. Vinton.  “It was a great experience for the students to come together with other students from across the state.  The girls did a fantastic job preparing, interviewing, and gathering footage.”
