Students Take the Polar Plunge

The high temperature in Pittsburgh was 25 degrees on February 21, 2025, but that didn’t stop a group of students from Penn-Trafford High School from taking a Polar Plunge.  The school’s ‘Warriors for All’ inclusion club, with sponsors Miss Miranda Frye and Mrs. Colleen Jones, traveled to Acrisure Stadium to jump in icy cold water and celebrate its $1,850 donation to the Special Olympics alongside other students from schools across the Pittsburgh region.

“The students worked hard to raise money and support the Special Olympics,” commented Miss Frye. “It was a day of positivity and kindness, and we can’t wait to go back again next year!”
