Whiteboards Impact Math Classes

The Penn-Trafford Community Education Foundation (PTCEF) awarded a grant to high school math teachers Mrs. Tiffany Stewart and Mrs. Jackie Bartko for mobile whiteboards.  The new equipment has already made an impact, with students graphing trigonometric functions and collaborating on problem-solving strategies.

“The mobility of the whiteboards will support differentiated instruction, enabling students to engage in peer-to-peer teaching, small group discussions, and whole-class presentations,” commented Mrs. Stewart.  “The whiteboards support active learning, encourage student autonomy, and foster communication skills, all of which are essential for their academic and social development.”
