Students in Mrs. Siniawski’s Independent Living class at Penn-Trafford High School enjoyed a guest instructor during a November class. Aramark’s Food Service Director at Penn-Trafford, Mrs. Terry Chavara, stepped in to teach the class how to prepare a low-salt alfredo sauce with chicken, noodles, and garlic bread.
“We were thrilled to welcome Terry into our classroom,” commented Siniawski. “The students typically use our microwaves, so this was a fabulous experience to teach the teenagers how to cook on a stove top while practicing the safety standards.”
