Teacher Acquires Dry Erase Tables

The Penn-Trafford Community Education Foundation (PTCEF) provided funds for Spanish teacher Nikki Stoup to purchase six dry-erase tables for her classroom at Penn-Trafford High School.

Stoup finds the tables to be much more conducive to conjugating verbs and translating sentences than paper and pencil.  The tables make it easy for them to jot down words or phrases that they need to remember and to make quick corrections if needed.

“My students enjoy being able to use the dry-erase aspect of the tables as well as just sitting in a more comfortable and social environment,” said Stoup.  “Learning a language requires speaking to others and it is much easier to do so at a table rather than beside someone at a desk.”
