PTHS Students Create Unconventional Artwork

Five Penn-Trafford High School students participated in an Art Symposium hosted by Greater Latrobe High School on Friday, March 4.  The event brought together 39 works of art from students across Westmoreland County.

All participants were asked to create art with unconventional products using the theme ‘Big Ideas’.

While a team of judges - including Penn-Trafford’s Mrs. Christeleit - reviewed the art submissions, students received a tour of the unconventional art in the Greater Latrobe Art Collection.

PT participants included seniors Delaney Shusko and Emma Corall, and sophomores Michael Harris, Ella Dindak, and Lindsey Adam.  Michael’s piece, Eve’s Mutiny; Adam’s Decay, received second place.
