Two alumni of Mrs. Alba’s Spanish classes at Penn-Trafford High School returned to their Alma Mater to share their post-graduate experiences with current honors and AP Spanish classes.
Rachel Dusetzina, a 2011 graduate, has lived in Spain for over seven years. In January, she joined Alba’s AP Spanish class via Google Meet from her home in Spain, to converse with them about her cultural and life experiences. The students were able to practice their Spanish skills and learn about her study abroad experience and career in Spain as well as hear her speaking in the language.
In March, Caden Breeze (a 2017 Penn Trafford graduate) spoke with Alba’s Spanish 4 Honors and AP classes about his studies, his study abroad experiences, and his command of the language.
“My current students were able to practice their Spanish skills by asking questions about their own career paths, benefits of language study and opportunities in other countries,” commented Mrs. Alba.
