Two teams of students from Penn-Trafford High School participated in the Game Design Challenge which was hosted by Burrell High School on February 2, 2022. The object of the challenge was to develop games with the theme of Social Media within a 2-hour time limit. Twelve teams from across Westmoreland County took part in the event. After designing their games, the students play-tested and evaluated each other's games.
In the end, the PT team of Teresa Steffens, Victoria Davis, Delena Steimer, Kate Malley, and Mark Harris were awarded second-place overall as well as the People's Choice Award (awarded by the teachers) for their work.
