Students Build Edible Homes

The gifted students of Penn-Trafford High School participated in a Gingerbread House building competition hosted by Belle Vernon High School.

Teams were tasked with building edible structures that mimic indigenous dwellings or structures. Models had to be completely edible and built within the scale requirements of an original structure.

The three Penn-Trafford teams swept the awards.  First place went to Marissa Fong, Rachael Gill, and Ella Malloy; second place went to Mia Muro and Rylyn Ickes, and third place went to Kristina Heins, Emily Lenart, and Maddy Keenan.
