Spanish NHS Welcomes New Members

On the evening of October 21, the Penn-Trafford chapter of the Spanish National Honor Society inducted twenty new members.  The students were selected after careful review of their applications, which include overall GPA, Spanish courses taken, and grades earned in those classes, as well as an essay describing their personal reasons for wanting to join this prestigious society.


New inductees are (Grade 11) Sophia Cordray, Victoria Davis, Kayla Ferguson, Jakob Haynes, Emma Hauck, Rylyn Ickes, Kate Malley, Berkley Olszewski, Teresa Steffens, (Grade 12) Hannah Allen, Talitha Brobst, Dakota Dandrea, Gillian Emahizer, Nicholas Freilino, Mikaela Kottelich, Jude Lovre, Marin Polechko, Skye Tanyer, Kayleigh Thompson, and Abigayle Weagraff


2021-2022 officers of the Spanish NHS are seniors Nicholas Freilino (President), Abigayle Weagraff (Vice President), and Mikaela Kottelich (Treasurer).


Faculty advisors are Mrs. Alba and Mrs. Stoup.
