On October 1, Penn-Trafford BotsIQ students, as well as students from the High School Production Engineering class, made the short journey to FS-Elliott for a tour of the facility. Mr. Eric Crompton (club advisor), Mr. Jeff Newsom (robotics teacher), and FS-Elliott staff spotlighted many different career opportunities available to the students right within the local community.
Skills required for these in-demand careers are being promoted in the many STEM courses available to the students in areas such as CADD, Robotics, Manufacturing, and Engineering. Penn-Trafford High School and FS-Elliott strive to create an important relationship to highlight the demand for manufacturing jobs in the region.
