Penn-Trafford High School held a College Application Day for its 12th-grade students on Wednesday, October 6. Sixteen colleges participated in the event; each college representative was provided a table at which to meet with students individually, distribute literature, and assist with the application process.
“Applying for college online can be a daunting task,” commented school guidance counselor Ms. Linnea Sherman. “The College Application Day gave students the opportunity to meet face-to-face with Admission Representatives. Students are often nervous to attend this event but leave with a sense of relief.”
A number of Admission Representatives were able to provide fee waivers, instant decisions, and even scholarships. Fifty students participated in this event.
