I teach Computer Science and Business at Penn Trafford High School. My courses include:
Computer Programming I (Python)
Students will learn to program using the Python programming language in a fun, graphical environment. College credit is available through Westmoreland County Community College.
AP Computer Science Principles
Students will explore computer science concepts and will program using the Javascript programming language. College credit is an option through LaRoche University.
AP Computer Science A (Java)
Students will learn to design and develop computer programs using the Java programming language. College credit is an option through St. Vincent College.
Introduction to Business
Students will discover the roles of business in the free enterprise system and the global economy. Students will learn business concepts such as basic economics, marketing, management, banking, credit, investments, and learn how to make sound decisions as consumers. Students will also learn about the importance of career planning and how to prepare for the working world.
